Everything the app does, and the two things it deliberately does not.
Tap the + on the Subscriptions screen. Picking a service from the list fills in its category and the page that actually cancels it. If yours is not listed, choose Add custom subscription and type the name.
Next payment is the important field. Every future renewal is worked out from that one date, so set it to a real charge — past or future, either works.
Annual and quarterly plans are spread evenly so the monthly total reflects what actually leaves your account over a year. A weekly subscription counts as 4.35 times a month, not 4 — a month is not four weeks, and rounding it down understates the total by 8.7%.
The Calendar screen is different: it shows the real charges landing in that particular month, so an annual plan appears once a year rather than every month.
A subscription billed on the 31st is charged on the 28th in February and back on the 31st in March. It does not creep earlier over time.
The free version tracks up to 5 active subscriptions. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited subscriptions and renewal and trial reminders. Buy it in Settings → Pro. There is no subscription.
On a new phone, open Settings and tap Restore purchase. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought Pro with.
Reminders need Pro. With Pro, turn on Renewal reminders in Settings → Reminders and allow notifications when asked. You can set how many days ahead, and at what time of day. Individual subscriptions can override the default.
Reminders are scheduled on your device, so they arrive whether or not you have signal. If the screen says notifications are off, that is your phone's system setting rather than the app's — the Open settings button takes you there.
Archiving stops counting a subscription without losing it, and you can restore it later. Deleting removes it and its price history for good.
Neither one cancels anything. Only the company can stop charging you, which is why the archive screen offers to open their page first.
Totals are stated in the currency set in Settings. A subscription billed in a different currency is kept and shown, but left out of the totals and reported at the bottom of the Spending screen. Converting would need live exchange rates, and this app does not download them.
Export backup writes a JSON file you can keep anywhere. Restore backup reads one back and replaces everything currently in the app. There is no sync: moving to a new phone means exporting from the old one and restoring on the new one. Restoring a backup with more than 5 active subscriptions needs Pro.
